Why Imran Khan is my inspiration?

“I have always believed that one should not be scared of losing, I think that really is the key.”

These are words from my inspiration; former cricket champion and current Prime Minister of Pakistan…

Yes, these are the words of Imran Khan.

The reason Imran Khan is my inspiration is because he successfully carved his fate for himself, by himself.

A young boy from Lahore mastered the cricket world, and is now the leader of Pakistan.

And he could do this because of one vital quality: Persistence!

Even though Imran was an ace cricketer, he became my inspiration once he joined politics.

This turn was huge for him.

It was rough.

But he made it.

Looking back in my career, I realise that the majority of deals I was not able to close were largely due to my lack of persistence with them.

At times I was busy with bigger deals, or was not able to focus on them due to other commitments.

Numerous studies show that majority of deals take at least 7 to 10 follow-ups to close.

That’s a big number, and only persistence can help achieve it.

Are you persistent in your business?

Who is your inspiration?
