Never underestimate the power of “Preparation”…

Sometime back, I was looking for an agency to handle my social media business

Met a few, they all talked about what they already do on social media, and what they can do for me

I was not convinced.

I decided to hire an inhouse resource to handle this

So I started my search

Then I got a call from a close friend , he recommended a new agency

I was hesitant, but I decided to meet them

I met them… half-heartedly

Middle of the meeting, they opened their laptop

I knew the drill by now. I was expecting another boring company profile presentation.

But instead, they showed me a customised presentation on what they can do for me and how they can do it.

It had visuals of my company’s business , possible creatives which they will use while executing my campaign & expected results

Everything was visually presented

Their rates were about 25% higher than the other agencies

Yet, I instantly signed them

Their customised, visually appealing pitch won me over

That’s how you win customers:

1) No body is interested to see what you are doing, they want to know how you can help them.

2) Never underestimate the power of “Preparation”

3) Visuals speak louder than words – show prospects visually exactly what you can do for them!
