One advice which doubled my sales figures…

One advice which doubled my sales figures…

When I started, I used to be average in sales.

Fortunately, few of the people I worked with were really “masters of the art”

The learnings I got from them were priceless.

Oftentimes I used to remain demotivated for days after a single rejection.

Then, many years back, I met Usman.

He was my senior colleague and his experience in sales was worth gold.

He told me once,

β€œ Zeeshan, at times prospects act weird towards you as they are humans and may be going thru their own battles” and then he added,

πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰πŸ‘‰ “Don’t let rejection lead to self-rejection” πŸ‘ˆπŸ‘ˆπŸ‘ˆ

This realization alone took my productivity to another level.

Earlier to this I used to get demotivated for days over a single rejection.

As a salesperson, I had to deal with too many, ”Nos”.

But I wasn’t offended anymore.

I learned:

1) Prospects will turn you down. Learn to be persistent. Come around another time.

2) Sales is about enjoying the process. Rejection is part of the process

πŸ‘‰ Don’t let rejection lead to self-rejection πŸ‘ˆ

Whose advice made an impact on your career?
