I had a few issues bothering me at the workplace.
I decided to arrange a meeting with my boss.
During our discussion, his mobile rang twice.
He ignored it!
At the third time, I looked at him and asked,
“Aren’t you going to get that?”
He paused, and said,
“No. I don’t know whether this call is important or not, but it can wait. I do know this meeting is important.”
The way he motivated and gave importance to me during my low times was worth more than countless of praises which he could have given me after achievements.
I still remember, I felt so much valued in that moment and continued my conversation with new energy.
Lesson learned:
