I was at the pharmacy today to get some medications when I noticed the place was operating with full strength of staff on duty.
Despite the pandemic, they are still coming to work for others who are in need.
While many of us have the privilege to “chill” while tucked into our homes, we should be grateful to those in the front line.
It’s the delivery guys, the Uber, Careem and taxi drivers, the police & doctors, the supermarkets and pharmacy staff.
These folks are taking the risk daily to keep our fridges and pantries stocked & ensure that those who need medications have them.
Let’s appreciate them and send our support for doing the vital work that leaves them exposed.
Thank you to all who are showing up, despite the risks and fears.
