My friend left a well-paying job.
To me, it was not a smart move.
As much as I don’t encourage working in a toxic environment,
I won’t encourage anyone quitting without an offer at hand.
I tried to crucify him.
But he said to me, “Life is too short to be unhappy.”
I couldn’t say a word.
He had a point.
Six months later, he got a better offer.
The job gave him enough flexibility.
I learned from him that,
Chasing monies is good,
Chasing happiness is better.
Life is too short to be unhappy.
