Many years back, I started a new job.
My boss gave me a task on the first day.
Somehow I could not do it correctly.
After assessing the work,
He showed his extreme disappointment and said,
“Zeeshan, this is awful.”
The bluntness astounded me.
“This must be part of the learning experience”.
I thought and immediately corrected my mistake.
But the feeling of being penalised on the first day of a new job,
Haunted me for very long!
I learned:
1) No one likes getting things wrong. People often commit “Honest-mistakes”.
2) No one EVER forgets how you made them feel.
