I connected them, and he got the job.
Two weeks later,
My friend was complaining about my referral.
He said, the guy wouldn’t come to work on time.
And was always making up excuses to meet deadlines.
Two months into the job, he was fired.
I was extremely disappointed.

throw it away when they get it?
Since then, I have become extra careful
when recommending people…
Some candidates are perhaps not ready.
They can make up many promises,
but find it hard to fulfill them.
