This is a non-business post.
I received a heartbreaking call for help this morning.
A breadwinner of 12, it was my building’s security guard, who was terminated due to the current situation.
Soon there may be many similar stories around us.
It is silliness to only expect governments to protect the dignity & financial needs of the impacted.
Hence, if all of us can on:
1) Personal Level: Take care of one family at least, financially and by keeping their dignity intact.
2) Corporate Level: Stop terminating people overnight. If possible trying to compensate with 1 or 2 months salary.
As they say, no one has ever become poor by giving.
