I used to feel intimidated by my peers.

I used to feel intimidated by my peers.

Perhaps, they were doing better than me,
especially when I read their status updates.

I started to put myself under pressures.
I felt like I was not doing well enough.
I overworked and barely rested.

Until one of them I felt was doing better,
asked me for financial help.
I couldn’t believe it.

He taught me a great lesson.

I learned:

Running rat race is waste of time.
Instead, focusing on what we have
And striving to be a better version of ownself
is the only real way of living.
