When I started looking for a job, every now and then, I was completely stunned.
Once, I had an interview scheduled with a company that was like 3 hours away from where I lived.
This was 15 years ago!
All excited, I went all the way.
On getting there, I discovered that the interview was postponed until further notice.
In a state of despondency, I approached HR but all he said was: ”It’s not a must to work with our company if you can’t deal with it.”
I left and never came back.
They never called back too.
I learned:
When someone is in a “Position of Power” and lacks empathy, It’s hard for them to understand and predict how others are feeling.
